For the most part, you don’t think of a plug-in hybrid as being a vehicle that is larger, offers you more space, and gives you the capacity and capability you need for a family. While we’ve already seen a minivan model that allows us to have the benefits of plug-in EV capability, we don’t often see this function in an SUV. We’ve seen the small Honda bikes that are used on the tight streets and alleys in Japan that are offered by Honda and other Japanese manufacturers, but we don’t normally see these little bikes make their way to the US market. With more city dwellers that want to be able to use their own mode of transportation than in the past, the call for these small motorized bikes are making a comeback in the US and Honda has a pair of them that will be offered for the future of driving around cities. There is one automaker, Mazda, with a special anniversary year arriving soon and the commitment to making the rotary engine work.
