The Tesla Model 3 Continues a Tradition of Quickness

The Tesla Model 3 was a game changer in the EV market, and it continues to impress. In the past, the only benefit you received for an EV was the saving of fuel money in favor of electric power, but these vehicles were slow, plodding, and only the most committed environmentalist would choose them for the drive. Tesla changed this with the Model S and continues to make sure we have excellent models to drive with the new Model 3. The Model S is considered to be one of the quickest cars on the road for the past few years and now that we’ve seen a video of the Model 3 running a quarter-mile in 13.3-seconds at 104 mph, we can discuss cars that are slower than the Model 3. The pure Subaru aspects of a perfect flat four engine, the AWD handling and the sporty fun are still part of the car that now has a sharper steering dynamic, stiffer chassis and more refined suspension. You’ll love the way this new version of the Impreza leave and impression on you with just a simple test drive. (more…)

2017 Subaru Outback: More than what You See

For years the Subaru Outback has been mired and admired by the thought that it wasn’t a real SUV. Much like Pinocchio, the Outback has many features of an SUV, but it also has the size and shape of a wagon. While this vehicle screams out “I’m a real SUV” it seems to still be a vehicle that we’ve admired for many years as it has built a nearly cult following of shoppers who love to drive the Outback and won’t choose anything else. This could be because of exactly what you get when you drive this beautifully confused vehicle. (more…)

What do you think of when you hear the Nissan Juke or Scion xB?  Most likely you think of them as funky city SUVs that lack the off road capability you may want in your SUV.  The new Subaru XV Crosstrek offers more ground clearance than the older version and still carries the build and size of a compact car that can offer you the ride you want and the efficiency you need.  Whoever said you couldn’t have the best of both worlds in off road capability and fuel mileage did not think of the Crosstrek when making that statement. For the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S, Tim Allen Needs to be Called

Possibly that is a stretch in the title to say we must call on Tim Allen even though anyone familiar with his brand of comedy and his television show would know he has always advocated for more power. To Tim it never mattered where that power came from as long as you could put more of it in whatever you were working on. The Subaru BRZ and is cousin the Scion FR-S are certainly cars that offer the need for more power. These two are amazing performance inspired vehicles which offer great handling and control in order to experience exceptional capability. With the thought of more power for this already awesome pair of cars, we can continue to complain and whine until Subaru wakes up and puts a strong V8 inside with a better exhaust and shaves off some weight from the car, or we can do ...
