Getting Interior Quality You’re Sure to Love

Every year we see new models on the market and some that are simply upgraded to be better than they were in the past. One thing we’ve seen in recent years is a priority put to the development and design of the interior quality of a vehicle. This is where you’re going to spend most of your time and it’s also where you want to have the comfort you need and access to all the systems that make up your vehicle. Lexus Is The First Place of Autonomy for Toyota

It shouldn’t come as any surprise to you that Toyota will choose to put autonomous technology in the Lexus brand before it trickles down to the vehicles that wear the Toyota badge like the Camry or Corolla. This follows along the same lines of other brands we’ve seen, but, for the most part, only from brands that don’t have a mainstream arm to go along with the luxury models offered. Adding autonomy at higher levels makes more sense because the higher price and expectation of the Lexus brand makes it the right place to start and build on what we’ll see in the future. (more…)

A Development that Could Benefit Many Car Companies

One of the most challenging aspects of driving a plug-in hybrid or EV model is the range of the vehicle and how far you have to go. These vehicles have been built to offer you some of the most aerodynamic shapes to help cut down on resistance and improve the distance you can travel on a single charge. For the most part, EV technology has come a long way and we now see models on the road that can last an entire day of driving before needing to be charged up overnight. (more…)

Succumbing to the Pressure

In the automotive market, there are often cars that are built as a reaction to the pressure from the competition. When one automaker builds a style of vehicle the rest have to follow, especially if the trend is successful on the first vehicle. Soon we see an entire market change toward this new style of vehicle that’s no longer new but a successful and impressive class of vehicle. This was certainly the case as SUVs began to get smaller and that part of the market hasn’t even reached its peak yet, but there’s another part of the market that’s changing and more automakers are getting on board than ever; the hot hatch. The Toyota Sports Car You Will Love

The Scion brand was only around for a short thirteen years. This sub brand from Toyota was meant to strike a chord with younger shoppers to ensure they could purchase a great vehicle at a reasonable price. The overall thought was to offer a brand of vehicles that had only a few options to help keep the pricing consistent and affordable. The transition for a car shopper of Scion was for them to purchase the Scion at an early age, move to a Toyota model in the second phase of car ownership and eventually head to the luxury arm of Toyota by purchasing a Lexus model later in their lives.
