Like it or not, the one single factor that matters the most for your driving, no matter where you’re doing your driving, is your tires. The tires are what touches the road and makes contact which means you need to have the right tires for the job. This is why you can see racers lose track position during a race when they only change two tires or don’t come in for a stop at all.

Over the course of a race this would give you the fastest time and make it possible for you to win the race over the rest of the pack that doesn’t have the advantage of better tires.
