Although it likely wouldn’t be for sale at your Nissan dealer until 2025, the Nissan Skyline is rumored to be an electric SUV. If it proceeds past the rumor stage, the Nissan Skyline will be yet another vehicle in a long list of nostalgic badges being repurposed by automakers. While many automakers have scrapped production of sprinter vans throughout the US, Ford is
forging ahead with innovative ways on keeping commercial vans operational and van drivers up
to date on their vehicle’s performance. The automaker is pushing innovative use of data
generated by their vans and trucks in order to help attract more European and US commercial
vehicle and Ford truck sales.
Toyota is working with Suzuki to build a super light sports car with a 1.0-liter engine. The mid-engine coupe is expected to be lighter than even the lightest version of the Mazda Miata. It’s expected to produce 120 horsepower, but should be quite energetic due to how light it will be. Nothing is firm yet, so it’s hard to predict when it might end up at your local Toyota dealer.
