Revving Up or Slowing Down? Unveiling the June 2023 Used Car Price Rollercoaster

The used car market is America’s bread and butter, but lately, the industry has been bumpier than an old rollercoaster. As things stand, it is a little bit complicated. Used car prices are going up and going down at the same time. How can that be possible? It all boils down to timing and brand. While some brands are still struggling to get lower prices, others are dropping like flies on a hot June afternoon. Used car consumers, both those who are looking to sell and buy, should know the current trends. Surprisingly, it is not just about brands but types of cars too. For example, the price of wagon cars is going down right now, but the price of convertibles is going up. Based on current trends, if you are looking for a family car, now might be a good time to buy, but if you are lo...

Trade-in values for many used cars are at an all-time high with nearly a third of dealerships paying over 20% more for cars than they used to. New Mazda Cars Will Stop if Driver Suffers Health Problem

One of the most exciting elements of technological innovation you’ll see at your local Mazda dealer is the constantly improving safety features available on new Mazda vehicles. We’re already getting used to cars that can self-park, remind drivers to check their backseats, and automatically apply the brakes to avoid a collision. The future will continue this trend of safety transformation with the inclusion of tech that can actually tell if a driver has a health problem like a heart attack or stroke. (more…)

The Start of the Reaction

As the development of new technologies continues, the use of these items inside our vehicles can mean we see discounts offered for the models that we drive and enjoy on the road. These discounts can come from the insurance companies that we pay to cover our vehicle and ourselves in case of an accident. Now that we’re moving closer to having autonomous models on the road to be able to drive without a person behind the wheel at all, the interest has grown for us to make sure we use these new systems when on the road. Model 3: Better Late than Never

The Pied Piper of the automotive world has been Elon Musk. When he makes an announcement regarding a new Tesla model or the next version that we’re going to see on the market, we often get in line, nod along to what he has to say, and follow him down the path. While Musk has certainly become one of the most polarizing and intriguing personalities in the world, Tesla hasn’t ever been able to deliver on a vehicle at the stated deadline. Why we thought it would be different with the Model 3 is still a mystery, but now, we finally have the base priced Model 3. (more…)

The Tesla Model 3 Continues a Tradition of Quickness

The Tesla Model 3 was a game changer in the EV market, and it continues to impress. In the past, the only benefit you received for an EV was the saving of fuel money in favor of electric power, but these vehicles were slow, plodding, and only the most committed environmentalist would choose them for the drive. Tesla changed this with the Model S and continues to make sure we have excellent models to drive with the new Model 3. The Model S is considered to be one of the quickest cars on the road for the past few years and now that we’ve seen a video of the Model 3 running a quarter-mile in 13.3-seconds at 104 mph, we can discuss cars that are slower than the Model 3. Word from Starman

There’s no doubt that Tesla CEO, Elon Musk will work hard to capitalize on the publicity and the attention that his recent launch will gain. As part of his space program, the SpaceX Falcon Heavy Rocket launched from the Earth a couple days ago and was sent hurling toward Mars to prove that space travel to Mars and back can be done in a timely manner that would move toward the next stage of what Musk has planned for this program. This rocket took off and had a special payload on board for us to admire and be entertained. (more…)
