This car is one of the most impressive designs to ever come to the market and it offers us a look at what BMW has in mind for the future. The i8 is the halo car that doesn’t use a halo style engine. We’ve known there were secrets lying under the hood of Ford vehicles with the EcoBoost engines, but we weren’t exactly sure how to unlock these secrets. The word has been out for a while to let us know that we could tune these engines up to have more power output from under the hood, but there was never any official word as to how we could accomplish this task and create the power we wanted to enjoy. If you have found a certified pre-owned vehicle at a dealer that sells only one brand of new cars, you’re probably in good shape to agree to an extended service contract (ESC) and have the coverage you need and an easier time filing a claim, but if the car you choose is sold to you “as-is” with no warranty from the dealer but only the offer of a third party ESC you need to beware of what you’re agreeing to purchase.
