A Convertible that Outsells the Coupe

The thought of a two-door, three if you count the hatch, SUV is one that seems a bit strange for most of us to fathom, but Land Rover has been offering us the Range Rover Evoque Coupe with this layout for a few years. This setup seems a bit different, but it was the basis of being able to offer this SUV as a convertible as well, which also seems like an odd choice when you’re looking for an SUV to drive. Made for the Trails; Driving on the Roads

Why do we buy luxury SUVs? Is it so that we can have a higher class of vehicle to take on the trails and toss around out in the wilderness? If you’ve ever seen the repair bill for a luxury SUV after its been out on the paths without pavement you’d be shocked and never want to take it on the trails again. The reality is you can probably purchase a mainstream trail rider that you don’t mind beating up for the same price as the repair bill. Most of these vehicles are made for the off road adventures but will spend all their time driving on the roads, and that’s exactly where we love them.
