Even though it costs a bit more the GLE will be well worth the added expense and only offering the AMG model seems like the right choice from Mercedes-Benz.
Sales Expectations – Even though the X6 has not shown itself as a great selling vehicle along the road the GLE might be one that even outsells the C450 AMG in order to be the choice so many will make. The difference between the two is about $15,000 worth of price which makes the decision to drive a coupe car or a coupe SUV a serious consideration to make. The C450 AMG is quick too; able to reach sixty mph in only 4.8 seconds, but the desire to have an SUV and not have a massive increase in price just might entice enough buyers to select the GLE.
Too Pricy – If the GLE 450 AMG Coupe is just more than you can stomach for price there are others to choose from in order to have the right vehicle at the right price. The GLC Coupe is an option that will give you a lower base price and make it easy for you to handle the payments. Yes, the GLC is smaller but you can still enjoy the AMG specs and have a Mercedes-Benz that outperforms the X6 in a variety of ways on and off the road.
