The Ford Police Interceptor Goes Hybrid
There’s an expanded lineup of police vehicles in the works for the 2020 model year to give the police force a better line of hybrid police vehicles to drive. The next model to add hybridization under the hood and give us more of what’s needed to get the job done is the Ford Police Interceptor Utility which is the police version of the Ford Explorer. For a while, Ford has been tight-lipped regarding the specific engine that will be used to create this new hybrid powertrain that can offer you the drive and features needed want when it’s time to head out on the road.
