The power for this amazing SUV comes from three different engines that are able to give you the ride you desire.  The base model is a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine that makes 340 horsepower and 332 lb.-ft. of torque.  This engine is upgraded in the HSE trim to provide 380 horsepower.  Mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which all three engines use, this powertrain will give you a fuel mileage return of 17 city/23 hwy mpg.  The towing capacity of this and the other engines as well shows up at 7,716 pounds and uses premium gasoline.

The next engine up is a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 that brings in 254 horsepower and a strong 443 lb.-ft. of torque.  this is the engine you want if you are using your Range Rover for some serious off roading as it will give you the best overall off road performance.  The fuel mileage for this engine shows up at 22 city/29 hwy mpg to give you the necessary power.  At the top of the power structure for the Range Rover is the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 which offers up 510 horsepower and 461 lb.-ft. of torque.  This engine is the one you want to be able to do everything imaginable including reaching higher speeds much faster.  The fuel mileage of this top engine shows up at 14 city/19 hwy mpg, but you didn’t buy the Range Rover for the fuel numbers did you?

As a vehicle that is truly built to be a vehicle that shows others that you have arrived at the top of the success platform the Range Rover is one that gives you the feeling and the clout to let them know.  You will get the feeling of success as well every time you step inside for a ride.  The turbodiesel engine is new for 2016 as is the upgraded supercharger for the HSE trim level.  Other additional items for this new model year include the All-Terrain Progress Control, Automatic Access Height, Hands-Free Gesture Power Tailgate and the Land Rover InControl Remote and Protect which is used for emergency services and for other functions.

You expect the interior of this super SUV to be one that is amazing and it is.  The leather is better than virtually any other vehicle and the controls have been perfected to be some of the most advanced ever.  There is more than enough room for everyone to enjoy the ride and admire the high class features which can include massage functions in the back.

On the outside you find a vehicle that gives you a short or long wheelbase to be the right size for you to enjoy.  This vehicle has a strong presence and does not bend to over styling, keeping with a more traditional look that has served Range Rover vehicles well for many years.  The body structure of the Range Rover is made of aluminum to give you a nearly 700 pound weight loss over those made with steel.  A unique and classy feature of this SUV is the fact the taillights and headlights are similar in shape and seem to be linked by a single line that runs from the front to the rear.

For a vehicle that has the perfect driving and dynamic suspension of a Range Rover you expect to pay a high price.  The base price for this vehicle shows up at $86,000 with the HSE asking for nearly $93,000.  To buy the Td6 turbodiesel the price will increase by $1,500 while the V8 Supercharged engine asks for a little more than $104,000.  The long wheelbase will begin at $109,000 and the Autobiography trim starts at nearly $141,000 with the SVAutobiography requiring over $200,000for this purchase.  This is truly the top of the SUV market and gives you the most impressive vehicle to show off on and off the road.
