Chevrolet Bolt

There are 94.4 cubic-feet of volume with front passenger headroom at 39.8 inches and 37.9 inches of headroom for rear passengers. The Bolt only gives you 16.9 cubic-feet of cargo space behind the rear seats but that number increases to 56.6 cubic-feet once the seats have been folded down.

Powertrains

Nissan Leaf

The base version of the Leaf uses a 30 kWh battery pack to give you 110 horsepower and 210 lb.-ft. of torque to enjoy a range of 152 miles. The new addition to the Leaf lineup is the Leaf Plus which gives you a larger 64 kWh battery pack and a range of 226 miles on a single charge to make it more useful on a daily basis.

Chevrolet Bolt

The Chevrolet Bolt is only offered with one powertrain which uses a single motor and a 60 kWh battery pack. This gives you 200 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque for the drive and an estimated range of 238 miles on a single charge. This means the Bolt has more range than both versions of the Leaf to give you the ability to go farther during the day.

You’ll have a 10.2-inch touchscreen in the Bolt and enjoy the connectivity of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with the 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot feature that can give you the connection you want wherever you go. There’s not as much safety tech in the Blot, but you do have a few items that will make this the right car to drive.
