What to Expect From the 2023 Kia Soul

What to Expect From the 2023 Kia Soul

The fun, funky, and fresh Kia Soul has been the car we’ve been stumped by for many years, giving us a unique vehicle.

Is this little Kia an SUV, or is it a hatchback? We aren’t quite sure where to put this little Kia. For the 2023 model year, this vehicle offers a few changes that make it a bit more simplistic, taking away some of the funkiness of the Soul in favor of the practicality this impressive little vehicle brings to the market to offer an incredible drive.

Taking a Turn Back to a Car

The 2023 model year will see the deletion of the X-Line trim level, which offers a rugged build. This version of the Soul brings you to where you want with a more conventional style with more traditional headlights, a new front bumper with slimmed-down fog lights, and a redesigned rear bumper and taillights. Other than these fundamental changes to this Kia, we see this version of the soul as much as it was when it debuted for this third generation in 2020. This means you’ll have a car that offers a lot of everyday items for your drive.

What Does the Familiarity of this Kia Offer?

When you step behind the wheel of the Kia Soul, you’ll find a car that offers a fun and active feeling that you’ll enjoy in the cabin. The interior is large and impressive, and you’ll find an attractive, affordable price when you want to experience a great ride on the road. Kia offers a lengthy warranty and an impressive infotainment system in the Soul, allowing you to easily connect and enjoy the proper plan when you’re out on the road.

Look Inside at the Comfort Offered

The interior area of the Soul is exceptionally spacious for its size. The boxy shape gives this car an interior with lots of room for passengers and cargo. You can fit four adults inside with no problem, but the rear seat gets pretty tight if you squeeze in a fifth. The back area offers 24.2 cubic feet of cargo room that expands to 62.1 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded down. Enjoy the impressive package of the materials provided, even though there are some hard plastics, which should be expected in this affordable little vehicle.

There’s also an electric version of this car, the Soul EV. This version uses a 64-kWh battery and a single electric motor. This Soul model returns 201 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque during your drive. The driving range of the Soul EV is 243 miles on a single full charge.

The Infotainment System is Certainly a Favorite Feature of this Car

The fun doesn’t begin until you choose your playlist and let the lightest speakers show you how much funk this little car offers.

Will You Drive the new 2023 Version?

The exterior changes to the 2023 Kia Soul give it a more mature style than before. It’s probably a good time for this car to grow a little since we are a few years into the third generation. The Soul might look a bit more modern and subdued when it arrives for the next model year, but it maintains the fun, exciting size, and questionable classification that makes us wonder where it fits in the market.
