Every car show has a group of cars that simply make you wonder if the brand is serious about turning the vehicle that was displayed into a production model at some point in the future. BMW has been working on the X2, we know this because spy shots have been shared on many different automotive websites, but they chose to bring a concept model of the new X2 to the Paris Motor Show to give us a look at what will be their next luxury compact crossover model. This SUV came in bathed in a red-orange paint with gray cladding on the sides to give it a dramatic look and the appearance of an SUV up front and a sports coupe in the back to make the X2 ad combination vehicle that you want to pay close attention to. Volkswagen Shows off the Concept Version of the New Beetle

That’s what most have chosen to call this new concept car because the Volkswagen download file is titled “Beetle” but there hasn’t been an official announcement of the name. The simple reality is that this new concept car will be the first vehicle built on the new Modular Electric Platform from Volkswagen called MEB. This car showed up at the Paris Auto Show to give the beleaguered brand a new drive and a new direction to change the course of their own history.
