Honda Ends GM Fuel Cell Partnership to Focus on Next-Gen Hydrogen Tech

After nearly a decade of collaboration, Honda is pulling the plug on its fuel cell manufacturing partnership with General Motors. The Japanese automaker announced it will stop producing fuel cell systems at their joint facility in Brownstown, Michigan, before the end of 2026. While this marks the end of one chapter, Honda isn't walking away from hydrogen technology entirely.
