The Ford You Must Order

Ford has been around for a century or more and has mostly been a volume sales leader for the United States with global expansion to be a contender throughout the world. Normally you don’t have to order your Ford vehicle unless there is a specific color or build you want, but there is a Ford that you will have to order and the company has already started to take a list of names. This may put Ford in the category of the exotics, but as a company that has their toes in every puddle of the industry you have to admire what they have created. (more…)

When You Want More

Consumers are consumed with getting the right item for the money they intend to spend. That is the nature of consumerism and most manufacturers are happy to oblige. We see new products on the market every year and we are taught starting as kids to look for the new or better item because quality counts on everything from toys to homes. One thing in between those two is the car you choose to drive and what features it may have. If you consider yourself a purveyor of quality, you should consider the Model S from Tesla, but there are some new factors you need to consider. (more…)

The Power of the Viper in a Truck?

In the automotive world it seems there is nothing that is every off limits. We have witnessed all sorts of crazy contraptions whether it be from a tuner who has chosen to drop a massive V8 into a vehicle the size of a Smart Car or it’s a truck that was turned into a racing machine. Not often do we witness some of these crazy events from an actual manufacturer as most try and tow the center line to attract as many customers as they possibly can, but there has been one vehicle that was a blend and offered by a company that seemed to find a place in history to be a powerful and interesting vehicle. You Won’t Believe the Sales

With 2015 behind us and a quarter of 2016 gone we now get a chance to look back at the sales that were 2015. This past year was the strongest year ever in the automotive industry. More cars were sold than in any one year previously and you might think that every car had a banner year, but you would be wrong. For an unfortunate few models sales did not reach anywhere near the goals set by the manufacturer, even though these models were good cars and offered features that should have attracted more customers. Adjusting the Goals

The name of Maserati comes with a great deal of clout and vehicles that are some of the most visually appealing to ever be made. The trident badge stands for quality, attention to detail, specific styling and a feeling of something seriously special. Even though Maserati has made some bold claims that the company would reach sales of 75,000 units by 2018, recent announcements seem to have that possibility in jeopardy and the goals may need to be adjusted. 2016 BMW i3: The Sporty EV Hatchback

This is a great little EV hatchback that you can enjoy even while seeing the Bolt and Model 3 on the horizon from Chevrolet and Tesla. (more…)

Why do Those of Us Born in the 1970s Seem to Hate V8 Engines?

Even though not all of us hate the V8 engines of the 1970s, the fact that our parents had to put up with the low power numbers that were supposed to come out of the largest engines on the market.
