A Serious New Hyundai Sub-Brand

We’ve heard that the i30N, part of the new N sub-brand being offered from Hyundai will be the first model offered with new badging and performance items, but it won’t be offered in the US. What we will have is a performance version of the Veloster after we see the new model of this car as it shows up at the shows this year, which started with the Consumer Electronics Show that has already begun. If this was where the N brand would stop, then this would be a sad and extremely short tale. (more…)

There are many cars that inspire designers and the Executive Design Director of Infiniti, Alfonso Albaisa, bows toward a few models that have provided him with the curvature he adds to his designs and have inspired him to create some of the most alluring vehicles on the market today. Danger on the Road and Track

Driving by nature can be dangerous, but when an automaker adds power and sells a car as a sports car you quickly find out that there is more to the danger than you thought. Most of us don’t want to feel as if we’re taking our own life with any disregard when we step into our car to head out for the day or to go to the track and these cars weren’t meant to make us feel any less safe than any others, but they certainly have been considered to be some of the most dangerous cars on the road for a variety of reasons. When You still Want to Shift

For many years the idea of driving a sports car with an automatic transmission was laughable.  These transmissions were capable of taking the shifting off our plates but couldn’t give us the fuel mileage we would get from a manual and certainly couldn’t give us the performance we desired.  That has all changed and now more cars are fitted with automatics than ever before because they are now made to deliver better fuel mileage and certainly can shift faster and smoother than we can ourselves.  Even with that thought, if you want to enjoy a manual transmission and handle the shifting duties yourself, here are twenty cars that still allow you to do so.
