Rolls-Royce Previews Its $400k Electric Car

Just when you thought there couldn’t be any showstopping announcements about electric cars left in 2022, Rolls-Royce took the stage with jaw-dropping news. This luxury brand announced its first-ever electric vehicle, and it’s going to be amazing. The Spectre, the first of potentially several electric cars to come from this automaker, is expected to go into production late in 2023. Shoppers should anticipate spending $400k to bring one of these innovative electric cars home. The Start of the Reaction

As the development of new technologies continues, the use of these items inside our vehicles can mean we see discounts offered for the models that we drive and enjoy on the road. These discounts can come from the insurance companies that we pay to cover our vehicle and ourselves in case of an accident. Now that we’re moving closer to having autonomous models on the road to be able to drive without a person behind the wheel at all, the interest has grown for us to make sure we use these new systems when on the road. Model 3: Better Late than Never

The Pied Piper of the automotive world has been Elon Musk. When he makes an announcement regarding a new Tesla model or the next version that we’re going to see on the market, we often get in line, nod along to what he has to say, and follow him down the path. While Musk has certainly become one of the most polarizing and intriguing personalities in the world, Tesla hasn’t ever been able to deliver on a vehicle at the stated deadline. Who Knows Fuel Cells Better?

Whenever we have new technology on the market in the automotive world we are quick to find many who try to mimic this tech and build something that is better or more advanced.  This has been the case throughout history, not only in the automotive industry, but across all industry.  Currently the Tesla models show us a version of the fuel cell that we have not come across before.  Not only did they perfect the actual fuel cell to such a point of dispelling any need for a gasoline backup (which really could be useful) but they used the fuel cell to balance out the weight of the vehicles by using the whole floorboard for the system.
