The TT is Coming with a New Model in 2016

As the Audi TT enters its third generation, this fun and exciting car offers us a new model that is built to excite us and give us a version that will continue to raise the standard for other automakers to follow. If you loved the Audi TT in the past, this new one will be an upgrade and make you forget about the car you have previously loved. Offered in three models, the TT, TTS Coupe and TT Roadster, the TT lineup makes a great choice that is now based on the Volkswagen MQR modular platform. This causes the car to be about 100 pounds lighter by using aluminum wherever possible.

The body of the new TT offers a coupe and convertible that gives off the sophisticated and elegant style that defines the very best of the quad circle badge. The new look includes sharper body shaping and standard LED lights to gain a brand new look. The inner workings have been improved to include a revised fully Magnetic Ride suspension that is optional on the TT and standard on the TTS Coupe.

Inside, where you spend most of your time, the cabin has been upgraded to give the feeling of Audi’s new “virtual cockpit” with a modular dash that offers function and a conventional instrument cluster. The center of the stack offers a Multimedia Interface (MMI) screen which is 12.3 inches and able to be configured by the driver. To ensure your passenger will feel they can be fully connected on this joy ride, the TT includes 4G LTS Wi-Fi to allow connection via mobile devices anywhere you may head out in this dynamic ride. Add in the sound that comes out of the 680-watt Bang & Olufsen Sound System with 5.1 Surround Sound and you have a car that you could almost feel comfortable living in.

Power for this Audi will come from a 2.0-liter TFSI turbo four-cylinder engine that will give up 220 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. The TTS will improve this aggression with a 292 horsepower offering that also reaches 280 lb.-ft. of torque for this very enjoyable car. The engine will be attached to a standard six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and of course the Quattro all-wheel drive which has been improved for this new version of the TT and TTS.

As a luxury roadster, the TT is unmatched in its class and this new generation model looks to prove to be just as serious a player as the previous models have been. Regardless of which TT version you choose, the Coupe or the Roadster this car is built to match you with the road and keep you comfortably riding along any winding and twisting road in confident style that can only be had when choosing this awesome car. The 2016 models are expected to arrive soon to the Audi dealers, making their way to our roads showing off the awesome performance Audi has put into this excellent car.
