The newest version of the Dodge SRT Hellcat is the Redeye edition that offers an amazing amount of power to be the muscle car that you want to drive. This car is the subject of an advertising campaign that includes Santa from Dodge that allows us to see the car as more than what it actually is. While we know the Redeye as one of the fastest production cars on the market and certainly a car that brings you more power for the money than any other on the road, it seems to be the reason for a miracle.
Santa and His Sleigh
We tell our children and watch commercials and movies during the holiday season that depict Santa Claus and his ability to make it around the globe to visit every child in the world in one night. While this tale is one that’s been told many times over and handed down from generation to generation, it may have never had a twist on it that Dodge has added recently. The advertising for the Black Friday sales has already begun and Dodge decided to get creative and offer us a new look at a car that we love and admire.
Goldberg as Santa
The Dodge SRT Challenger Redeye is a serious muscle car, and during the advertising from Dodge, this is a car that becomes the upgrade for Santa to enjoy. Santa is played by a serious muscle man, Bill Goldberg, former NFL player, and WWF wrestler, and with Bill as Santa, it’s easy to see the transition that needs to be made to the Challenger. While the garage shows an SRT Durango and a Hellcat Charger, it’s the Challenger Redeye that receives the treatment of being turned into a sleigh for Santa Claus to fly around the world.
The Sleigh is Real
You might expect the sleigh that’s made from a Challenger Redeye to be a computer-generated image, but it’s actually real. Dodge hacked up a Redeye to make a sleigh that now has 797 horsepower instead of eight reindeer-power under the hood. This muscle car packs the engine and is still able to run, even though it can’t drive because the team took away the wheels of the car. This amazing machine is expected to make an appearance in another commercial as we get closer to the Christmas date.
The Mystery is Explained
If you’ve got some kids that aren’t sure about Santa Claus, you can show them this commercial and let them know that Santa has upgraded his sleigh to be able to deliver toys and gifts around the world even faster than before. This commercial is a likely reason why the man is red is jolly all the time as well. Imagine if you got to fly around in a sleigh that’s made from one of the most impressive muscle cars on the market; you’d probably be pretty happy most of the time as well.
