Limited Numbers that Aren’t Limiting from Alfa Romeo

Limited Numbers that Arent Limiting from Alfa Romeo

The car that brought Alfa Romeo back to the US will continue on for the 2020 model year to give us an exciting and fun sports car to drive. The Alfa Romeo 4C is a car that tickles the imagination, provides us with the fun we want, and is an engaging car that drives like purists want on the road. When the 2020 model year shows up, there will be a limited edition of this car offered which will be called the 4C Spider Italia and it will be offered in very small numbers.

The Numbers are Small but Right

Alfa Romeo has likely chosen the right number of these new special edition models to offer for our drive. January saw a total of seven of the 4C Spider models sold and a total of 238 were sold in all of 2018. With these numbers in mind, the fact that we will only have fifteen of the 2020 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Italia models sold in the US, but that means a healthy percentage of the customer base for this car will be able to enjoy driving it, even though this number feels like it’s an extremely small one.

What is the 4C Spider Italia?

Essentially, the 4C Spider Italia is an appearance package that adds $5,000 to the price of the car. This package takes the standard 4C Spider and adds an exclusive blue paint called Misano Blue Metallic. The front air intake and rear diffuser are finished in piano black to give them a more dramatic look. Owners will also receive a “4C Spider Italia” sticker for the side of the car that gives you an Italian feel to the car. Inside, you’ll find an aluminum dashboard insert that designates the car as a special edition model and the center console has a plate with the number to match to the run for the car.

No Upgrades to the Performance

The addition of the $5,000 to the price of the 4C Spider only improves the appearance of the car. You still have the 237 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque coming from the four-cylinder turbocharged engine that’s part of this car. Having this car added to the mix for 2020 does allow us to know that we’re going to have this car for the 2020 model year, which is excellent news as well. The only option you can choose for the 4C Spider is the choice of the automatic transmission.

Bare Bones, but a Great Drive

If you’re looking for an impressive car to drive that actually makes you feel like you’re driving a classic model, the 4C Spider is the right choice. The new 4C Spider Italia adds to the mix with some great appearance features and a special run that can get us excited. The 4C Spider is one of the most bare-bones cars on the market, but it’s a car that does offer you the drive you’re looking for when you take it out on the road and at the track.
