Redesigned 2023 Hyundai Palisade Accidentally Leaked Before Official Debut

A leaked image of the 2023 Hyundai Palisade along with the Korean brand’s official teasers has given Hyundai lovers a more detailed look at what’s in store with the SUV’s 2023 look. Off the cuff, standout differences include the upgraded squared-off grille, refined LED placement, and what appears to be a bump-up in chrome accents along the trim and wheels.

The leak happened thanks to an accidental image attached to the brand’s YouTube live stream thumbnail. KoreanCarBlog was one of the first to break the slip up. Shortly after the leak, it didn’t take long for Hyundai to quickly remove the image of what will be showing up at your local Hyundai dealership.

Despite their quick action, Hyundai enthusiasts have been eager to analyze what’s in store with the 2023 Palisade. The newer body style, at least from the front end, doesn’t take a drastic deviation from the older models. However, there are obvious refinements in the details, as well as a subtle but obvious bumper facelift.

For starters, it appears the 2023 Palisade will feature a more squared-up design along the grill and front bumper. While it’s a boxier look, it maintains that appeal associated with a heavy-duty but luxurious SUV. Seeing as the 2023 Palisade offers that much-coveted third row, this new refined look will be warmly welcomed.

The LED lighting has also been revised to feature a more modern, almost futuristic feel. The headlights are sleek and vertically curved appearing to stretch down, nicely complementing the fender. Sleek contrasting accents on the base of the front bumper and side skirt also offer a nice pop compared to the black body bumper and side skirts on the previous models.

While the leaked image still offers room for speculation about side and rear body enhancements, there’s plenty we do know about when it comes to the key features and upgrades offered in the 2023 Palisade. You can expect the newest model to include the following global upgrades:

  • 3-inch navigation system
  • Auto-dimming side mirrors
  • Hydrophobic windows
  • Smart Park Assist
  • 0 Digital Key
  • Upgraded Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) both forward and in reverse
  • Adapted cruise and curve control
