Exploring the 2025 Ford Explorer: New Features and Enhanced Technology

Every time you head out on the road you can see that there is no shortage of SUVs. Every manufacturer makes them, and usually, they offer multiple options in different styles and sizes. With so many models available, it can be tricky to figure out which one you want. If you’re not sure what you may find when you go to a Ford dealer, you’re in for a treat if you check out the 2025 Ford Explorer. Ford gave it a few updates and upgrades that make it well worth a test drive.

A New Look for the Outside

One of the first things you may notice when you see the 2025 Ford Explorer is that it looks just a little different. It’s not a complete redesign, but there are enough changes that you’ll notice. Updated LED headlights and taillights provide better light when the sun goes down, and depending on what trim you’re checking out, the grille will have a unique look.

New Features in Cabin to Keep You Comfortable

Once you get past the outside and take a seat in the Explorer, you’ll appreciate the updates in the cabin. Heated front seats now come standard, no matter what trim you’re in. Ford also made some new packages available if you want to change up the look and feel of the cabin.
The Active Comfort Package adds a heated steering wheel, and Ford’s ActiveX faux leather upholstery. The ST-Line Premium Package gives your rear-seat passengers heated seats and PowerFold third-row seats that are easier to adjust. If you want to step up the Luxury, then add the Platinum Lux Leather Package. It has upgraded leather upholstery to create the ultimate in comfort seating.

Taking Tech Even Further

Innovative technology is the name of the game these days. It’s not just the kids that like their tech, and you’ll love what Ford did with the 2025 Explorer. To start, there’s a big ol’ 13.2-inch touchscreen in the dashboard housing the Ford Digital Experience. The customizable experience puts all the content that you need right within easy reach and site, so you can keep your eyes on the road.
In front of the driver, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster has even more information that you’ll need throughout your drive. On top of this, the cabin has eight USB ports and there are three household-style outlets across the three rows of seats. If you don’t want to plug in, no problem, there’s also wireless charging.

Blue Cruise – It Can Do the Driving for You

If you haven’t experienced Ford’s Blue Cruise hands-free driving technology, now is the time to go to a Ford dealer and try it out. The 2025 Ford Explorer offers it, so take it out for a test drive and see how you can let your Ford take over the stressful part of driving. Just activate the system on one of the roads it’s compatible with and you can take your hands off the wheel and your foot off the gas.
