A Serious New Hyundai Sub-Brand

We’ve heard that the i30N, part of the new N sub-brand being offered from Hyundai will be the first model offered with new badging and performance items, but it won’t be offered in the US. What we will have is a performance version of the Veloster after we see the new model of this car as it shows up at the shows this year, which started with the Consumer Electronics Show that has already begun. If this was where the N brand would stop, then this would be a sad and extremely short tale. (more…)

The Hyundai SUVs are Coming

There’s no doubt that the commitment to the future of driving is centered around the small and active SUV models like those from Hyundai, that can be enjoyed on a daily basis. The SUV segment has outsold the sedan market for two years in a row so far, and it now offers us more options of what you want for the drive on the road. There are now more choices for the vehicles that fit five people, have a small cargo area, and the driving dynamics of a car than there have ever been. (more…)

The Hyundai Sonata is Still an Attention Getter

Although the Hyundai Sonata has been around a while, it still manages to not only stay relevant but also garner some positive attention. Over the past few years, the automotive market has shown a serious focus on crossover SUVs rather than sedans that we used to drive. With more sales in the crossover market than the sedan class it’s important that you remember there are still some amazing sedans offered. One that often gets overlooked is the Hyundai Sonata, which is a sedan that you need to take a look at and experience when you want to drive. The 2018 version of this car is one that brings you more of what you want; there are several reasons to choose this car for the drive. (more…)

The Genesis Brand is Off to a Great Start

It’s that time and it’s an exciting time. We finally get what Hyundai has promised us for the past several months, a new luxury brand that will now be known as the Genesis brand and replace the Genesis car entirely. The reason we now have this brand is because the Genesis was popular and one of the most impressive cars for several years, which now will be the perfect name for the brand that will be the first Korean luxury arm we have seen on our market. So, what did Genesis bring us to enjoy? (more…)

A New Luxury Brand that Puts the Germans on Notice

We have luxury brands from all over the world.  Germany seems to house a few of the names that have been the most highly acclaimed of the luxury brands in the world with the names of BMW, Mercedes- Benz and Audi being the three we hear the most about and for good reason.  The cars from these brands have been expertly crafted and engineered to be some of the most engaged driving machines on the road for many years.  With that said, these three brands need to pay attention to what is happening under the Hyundai roof in Korea as do all other luxury brands in the world. Looking Forward to the New Elantra

Elantra The next generation Elantra is already out on the streets in South Korea as the Avante.  Even though the company uses different names for the car (most do for their models) the Avante is very much what we expect to be the new Elantra.  Of course when it is revealed as the Los Angeles Auto Show late in November we will get a full look at the new version of a car from Hyundai that we have already loved in many versions, but this one appears to be more stylish and sculpted in nature. Hatchbacks that Go Farther

If the price of a gallon of gasoline ever made it back down to the price it was in the 1970s or even the early ‘80s we might never worry about fuel mileage again, but because that price continues to be as much or more than a gallon of milk, one of the most common questions dealers get for vehicles is “What is the gas mileage?”  Gas mileage is measures under ideal driving and vehicle conditions; which mean you need to maintain your new car, truck, or SUV properly and drive at least somewhat conservatively in order to benefit from decent gas mileage.
