The RAM 3500 is the heaviest duty pickup in the RAM lineup. This full-ton pickup truck is one of the toughest commercial trucks available to mere mortals. With herculean power and tons of style, this truck can be purchased in five different trim levels.
When you go with the RAM 2500 or 3500, you get a choice of three engines. The standard 6.4-liter V8 can tow up to 16,300 pounds and handle a max payload of 3,190 pounds. Drivers can also choose a 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel V6 that can easily tow up to 18,000 pounds and carries a max payload of 3,000 pounds. The highest output engine on the RAM 3500, a Cummins that offers 1075 lb-ft of torque, pumps up the max tow rating to 37,090 pounds and a max payload of 7,680 pounds.
