One Way You can Get to Drive a Rolls-Royce

The Rolls-Royce and the Spirit of Ecstasy ornament have been the figure of high class luxury for many years.  Only the very few ultra-rich can afford to buy and drive a Rolls-Royce model and be driven around in these high class automobiles that are made to be fantastic to drive and ride in.  As the perfect luxury brand with every model being finely tuned and ready to go most of us will never be able to drive one of these beauties, let alone ride around in one in such a way as to get more than a glimpse from time to time. Partnership is a Possibility

When we see car companies team up the results often can be simply amazing.  When it comes to two of the most lauded names in the business that have developed technologies and systems that are being recognized as the perfect blend of elements the car should be out of this world.  Currently the talks are that two of our favorite names will pair up to design and offers a car that will be the best of both worlds in a way that will generate excitement and possibly give us the next supercar for us to love and admire. Sometimes We Just Goof

In the automotive world it’s hard to believe a car would make it through all the testing, presenting and discerning that takes place and be offered to the public even though it’s not the best product that can be built.  This does happen at times and it happens to the best in the business just as much as those upstarts who aren’t sure what niche they want to play in.  With that in mind, here are several cars that truly were the black sheep of their automotive family during the time they were built, bringing embarrassment and shame to their kin. The F-150 Black Ops; The Baddest Truck on the Road or Off

We all have already admired the newest F-150.  Taking a lighter design build and making a rugged and tough truck was no easy task, but what they churned out has been something amazing for us to admire and enjoy.  This new F-150 has taken a beating and has kept on coming, surpassed the off road and work truck expectations and even shown that it can be transformed and featured in a variety of ways not unlike the Mustang which is one of the most often altered cars each year; surpassed the off road and work truck expectations and even shown that it can be transformed and featured in a variety of ways not unlike the Mustang which is one of the most often altered cars each year. The Toyota Camry XLE is the Comfort Player

The Toyota Camry is the best –selling mid-sized sedan in the world.  This car has carried this label for many years.  What comes with being the best-selling car; a lot of hate toward the success the car offers.  The Camry is bland, of course; the Camry is vanilla, yup, sure is; the Camry isn’t exciting, right again; in fact, the Camry has for years been all of these things but somehow has continued to be the top seller.  Why has this car been such a great selling sedan?  The simple and correct answer is because it fills the need we all have at a price that’s affordable and with features that make it enjoyable to drive. A Look at the Chevrolet Colorado in Diesel Form

One of the missing pieces, when the Colorado and Canyon came back to the GM lineup, was a diesel powered version.  Both trucks immediately made a huge impact on the marketplace and gave us vehicles that are stellar at being midsized workhorses capable of heading out to the off road territories when called upon to do so, but the diesel was not offered right away.  For the 2016 model year, there will be a diesel powertrain for both of these amazing trucks to let you have much more power and a better low end feel that gets the work done. Buick Is Still Regal

Buick Rarely is the adjective regal used to describe anything but royalty and those who carry themselves in a quiet and dignified manner.  Seldom can a car personify the very definition of that word either, as it typically means magnificent or suitable for a king or queen, but somehow one car has managed to step up to the plate.  Buick’s Regal sedan is the bastion of regality with its quiet class and stately appearance.  So while this vehicle may be fit for a king or queen, it is made to fit the budget and needs of the every man. Now that We See it What Will it Really Be

Before the Frankfurt Auto Show Nissan had to answer questions regarding their new Gripz concept that looks a lot like a crossover SUV that is made to replace the Z model sports car that we have loved from Nissan for so many years.  If this SUV were to actually replace the Z cars there would certainly be a worldwide uproar and protest, at least until the production of the Gripz is official and we get to drive the SUV that is now carrying the Z-badge. 2016 Scion iM: A New Hatchback with Maturity

Even though the market for hatchbacks keeps on changing, Scion is confident the new iM will be a heavy hitter for them.  One of the main reasons for this level of confidence is the fact that the iM comes in the Scion way which is a mono-spec sales plan meaning it comes as is with only dealer installed upgrades offered for the vehicle.  By doing this Scion is able to undercut many of the other automakers with their hatchbacks including the Ford Focus, Kia Forte5 and Mazda3 which all are typically around $23,000 which will be more than $3,000 above the new iM. Will it be or Won’t it be?

Whether that’s a mock of Shakespeare’s famous quote or simply a happy accident is hard for me to determine but the subject today is whether or not a car will become a classic in several years.  Typically a classic car has to be at least 25 years old, but for the interest of a real classic it also has be to be one that is desirable and brings a bit of charm form the era it was made in.  With cars these days made almost to be disposable after a few years it’s interesting to discuss whether or not some are meant to become classics.  Someday our future generations will be able to say “they sure don’t make them like they did in 2015 anymore”; let’s look at some vehicle they might be talking about.
