Are EV Drivers Smarter than Other Drivers?

While there’s no evidence to suggest that a driver who chooses a vehicle that runs solely on electricity is any smarter than a driver of a gasoline powered vehicle it seems these drivers are making more intelligent choices. This fact is the result of some of the data collected by AAA and the number of service calls they’ve had for EV drivers over the past several years. AAA serves the nation of members which is nearly 56 million strong at this point, but there seem to be a different type of service needed for those driving EVs over those with gasoline engines. Is an Extended Service Contract Worth the Money You Pay?

When you buy a car that’s new to you, but is a used model there are several different things to consider. If you have found a certified pre-owned vehicle at a dealer that sells only one brand of new cars, you’re probably in good shape to agree to an extended service contract (ESC) and have the coverage you need and an easier time filing a claim, but if the car you choose is sold to you “as-is” with no warranty from the dealer but only the offer of a third party ESC you need to beware of what you’re agreeing to purchase. Every car show has a group of cars that simply make you wonder if the brand is serious about turning the vehicle that was displayed into a production model at some point in the future.
