When it was first introduced the Panamera received a lot of skeptic and many who saw it couldn’t believe Porsche would go the way of the sedan. For many the thought was this would signal the end of the days of Porsche’s dominance in the world of high performance sports cars, but they were wrong. The look of the Panamera is enough to get anyone’s heart beating faster and the amount of power under the hood makes this outstanding four-door sedan zip down the road faster than many sports cars. It seems Porsche simply so no reason why all its cars had to be two-seaters and now allow more passengers to experience the awesome ride and performance of this amazing sports sedan. (more…)

Something New to Look Forward to from BMW

BMW has introduced us to the i-Series of vehicle in the past couple year giving us cars that are built to be electric-hybrid vehicles that destroy the old ideal that a hybrid vehicle could not be a high performance machine. Of course Porsche already did this with the 918 Spyder, but at nearly $1M for the Porsche and only one version to select, BMW chose to create a lineup of these types of cars by giving us the i-3 and i-8 to whet our whistles and begin the imagination moving regarding what these cars can actually become. Does Learning to Drive a Stick Shift Make for Better Drivers?

In this world filled with technology and advanced instantaneous gratification we see people almost daily trying to perform the task of driving without the first thought of what they are actually doing. Instead of paying attention to the road or the rules of the road, they are busy on their cell phones (hopefully not texting, but you know some of them are), eating, drinking, looking for stations on the radio or just about anything but actually being in tune with the task at hand.
